Frequently asked questions about mobile and online banking

The major difference is how you access your account:

  • Mobile banking is accessed through a dedicated app on a smartphone or tablet.

  • Online banking is generally accessed via a browser.

Another difference between the two is that the mobile app allows you to deposit checks using your mobile device or tablet.

For personal accounts: Gather your Union Diamond Bank card or account number and PIN along with your Social Security number to complete a one-time enrollment process. If you don't have a PIN or need a new one, please contact 24-Hour Banking at +1 228 356 5036.

For business accounts: You'll need an ATM or debit card. You can apply for these at a branch. Use your PIN to log in to mobile or online banking. Next, create a unique username and password and follow the instructions on the enrollment page.

Most account information is updated in real time as transactions are processed throughout the day. Mobile and online banking offer you the most current balance and transaction information available.

Union Diamond Bank Mobile App or online banking:


1. From the Accounts dashboard, select Link external accounts. Then choose the financial institution from the list or use the search option.

2. Next, you'll be asked to enter your login info for that account. When the connection is successful, you can view the account's balance, transactions and other details on your Union Diamond Bank account dashboard.

Yes. Your Union Diamond Bank checking, savings, money market and brokerage accounts are eligible to send and receive external transfers both through online banking and the mobile app.

You can select from a wide variety of notifications to stay informed of account activity, in addition to automatic, always-on security alerts. Some common custom notifications by account type include:

  • Balance alerts so you know if funds get low
  • Transaction alerts including posted deposits and withdrawals
  • Deposits or withdrawals that exceed a dollar amount you choose
  • Overdrafts and overdraft protection transfers (checking only)

For credit cards:

  • Balances and transactions that exceed a dollar amount you choose
  • Available credit that falls below a specified dollar amount
  • Payments and credits posted to your account
